Welcome to our Class!
Hi everyone! I am so excited to be back at Lykins Elementary in SLC! I am starting my 14 year in SLC and my third year in Celina ISD.
I grew up in Frisco and have great memories of coming to Celina for sports games and other activities. I am proud to officially be a Bobcat!
I received my Bachelors in Rehabilitation Sciences at Stephen F. Austin University and then completed my Masters in Education with an emphasis in Autism at Arizona State University.
My daughter and I live in Celina and we stay busy with her activities, hanging out with our family, going to the lake, and we love going to Celina Square and visiting Hey Sugar!
I am looking forward to a great year!

meet the teacher
Meet the Teacher will be on Monday, August 14th from 5:30-7:00. Last names A-L are scheduled for 5:30-6:15 and last names M-Z are scheduled for 6:15-7:00. You will be able to see your child's classroom and drop off any school supplies that you have. Please do not label your child's supplies with their name. Looking forward to seeing everyone!
Daily Folders
PLEASE check your child's folder each day. This will be where behavior notes, daily notes, and other classroom and school information will be sent home. This is also where you will send notes to school. Thank you!
CLASS DAILY SCHEDULE
Your student will have their own individual schedule that will include:
lunch/recess time
specials time (P.E., Art, Music, Technology)
Core Subjects (Math, Reading, Writing, Science, Social Studies)
Schedules will be sent home the first two weeks of school.
Change of Clothes/Snacks
Please keep a Ziplock back of extra clothes in your child's backpack in case they have an accident at school or get dirty and need to change. Label the bag with your child's first and last name. Please make sure to swap out the clothes to fit the changing weather.
Please include:
underwear
socks
shirt
pants
Please pack a snack for your child to have daily. You can send several snacks for the week that we can keep in the classroom or pack one in their backpack daily. Also, make sure they have a water bottle. They are able to refill their bottles at school in our water filtration fountains. Thank you!
