Welcome to our Class!

My name is Ysenia Sanchez. I am a Sul Ross State University graduate which is located in my far West Texas hometown, Alpine. My Fiancé, William and I moved to Celina last summer and love this amazing community. I enjoy attending concerts, sporting events, and spending time with friends and family. I especially love playing with our two fur babies, Blu and Ella.

I am entering my 8th year of teaching. I previously taught 1st grade for 4 years and Kindergarten the past 3 years. Kindergarten is definitely where my heart is, it is a year filled with so much growth and adventures. I am so excited to work with you and your child, it is going to be an amazing year!

What to do before Meet The Teacher: Please label the following items with your child's name: scissors, school supply box, composition books, headphones, folders.

Daily Folders

Please check your child's folder each day. This will be where behavior notes, daily notes, sight words, and other information will be sent home. This is also where you will send notes to school.

CLASS DAILY SCHEDULE

Our students attend a different specials class each day for 1 hour . Students need to wear sneakers every day to safely participate in P.E. or bring them to change into.

Lunch money may be added to your child's lunch account online on the My School Bucks site for additional snacks and ice cream day.

Please provide a healthy dry snack for your child to eat in class during snack time and a flip top/straw water bottle that can be easily refilled. No screw top bottles please.

Change of Clothes

Please keep a Ziplock back of extra clothes in your child's backpack in case they have an accident at school or get dirty and need to change. Label the bag with your child's first and last name. Please make sure to swap out the clothes to fit the changing weather.
