Welcome to our class!

Hey, hey Bobcats! I will be teaching FIRST grade for the FIRST time and I couldn’t be more excited! My husband and I have lived in Celina for almost six months now and we love it SO MUCH! This is my 6th year teaching and my 1st year as a teacher in Celina. I have a friendly 1-year-old Black Goldendoodle named Bane and we love him so very much! My husband and I met when we were in Junior High and have been married 5 years in September!

In my spare time, I love working out, going on walks with Bane and Branson, spending time with friends and family (especially all of our nieces and nephews), and almost always have music playing anywhere I go!

I’m so excited to be a Bobcat this year!

What to do before Meet The Teacher: Please bring all of the supplies on our 1st grade list. You will be sorting them with your child at meet the teacher. Also, please be sure to know how your child will get home the first three days of school, so I can document it at Meet the Teacher.

Daily Folders

Please check your child's folder each day. This will be where behavior notes, daily notes, sight words, and other information will be sent home. This is also where you will send notes to school.

SPECIALS CLASSES

Our students attend a different specials class each day. Students need to wear sneakers every day to safely participate in P.E. or bring them to change into.

SNACK TIME

Please provide a healthy dry snack for your child to eat in class during snack time and a flip top/straw water bottle that can be easily refilled. No screw top bottles please.

LUNCH SERVICE

As our dining services have expanded, so has our system to better serve our Bobcats. This is a new system so all Bobcats who wish to buy their lunch daily or occasionally, must create an account beginning August 1. Additionally, families who qualify for free or reduced meal programs, may indicate that need by filling out the confidential forms. For any Bobcat who had a balance in the My School Bucks system, those funds have been rolled over to the new system. Your balance should be available when you create an account and login.

Change of Clothes

Please keep a Ziplock back of extra clothes in your child's backpack in case they have an accident at school or get dirty and need to change. Label the bag with your child's first and last name. Please make sure to swap out the clothes to fit the changing weather.

Please include:
