At Capital College, our teaching and learning practices are framed by the UK's Framework for Higher Education Qualifications (FHEQ). The FHEQ outlines the minimum requirements for UK higher education qualifications and sets out general expectations about the academic standards of higher education awards at various levels.
The FHEQ is a series of sequential stages, expressed in terms of a range of generic outcomes, which provides a developmental continuum for students. Higher education studies cover levels four to eight of the framework, from introductory study (typically during the first year of an undergraduate program) through to doctoral level.
This framework ensures that our academic programs meet the high standards expected in UK higher education and provides a clear structure for the progression of our students.Â
More importantly this also facilitates the recognition of our qualifications internationally, enhancing the employability of our graduates.
