Curriculum is delivered through a variety of platforms and methods (but not limited to these):
Class/studio instructions
Coursework
Critiques
Lectures
Tutorials
Seminars
Supervisions (Individual/Group)
Progression through the course or program is reliant on the student’s abilities to be independent, self-directed, and desire to remain curious so that they are constantly learning and growing. Part of this process will involve developing the various necessary competencies to ensure the student is ready for the next level, which will be increasingly more complex and challenging.
The competencies will be in the following areas:
Knowledge acquisition: the process through which the student engages with new knowledge and new experience, by broadening prior knowledge and understanding.
Conceptual and critical understanding: the process where the student is able to engage in critical analysis of ideas and practices, that are situated in different cultural contexts.
Professional practice experience: the process whereby students attain tangible professional experience and skills, suited for a range of pursuits and opportunities.
Critical and intellectual engagement: the process where the student is able to critically assess, review and articulate understandings, based on their new learning, knowledge and skills
