The Non-Fraternization Policy at Capital College of the Arts, Management and Technology is designed to uphold our commitment to maintaining an environment that fosters fairness, impartiality, and the absence of bias or prejudicial treatment. This policy is integral to our pursuit of academic and artistic freedom, as well as rigorous research.
Capital College strictly forbids non-consensual relationships to ensure that all students and staff can learn and work in a setting where they are evaluated, instructed, and supervised in a fair and objective manner.
This policy is crucial in ensuring equal treatment for all, preventing potential conflicts of interest, favoritism, exploitation, harassment, or breaches of professional standards.Â
As such, students, academic staff, and corporate staff are prohibited from engaging in romantic or sexual relationships where a power dynamic exists, such as in situations of supervision, direction, or control.
