Attendance

At Capital College, we value regular attendance and punctuality as key components of professionalism  and  academic success. 

Here are the attendance requirements and guidelines for leave applications:

• All students are required to maintain a minimum monthly attendance of 90%. 

• Any absences should be justified with medical certificates or approved leave applications (refer to Deferment and Leave of Absence page)

Consequences

The Immigration and Checkpoints Authority of Singapore (ICA) will be informed by the college if a student on a Student Pass has a monthly attendance rate below 90%. 

Student Pass holders who are absent for 7 consecutive days will risk having their Student Pass cancelled from the 8th day onwards. 

Cancellation letter will be sent to the student's registered residence in Singapore.
