ENGAGE 

The Engage Phase is a specific entry event at the beginning of a unit, a part of a unit, or a lesson. It is designed to spark curiosity and hook students into the learning. Sometimes it's just a minute or two long, and other times it may be an entire block. Strategies with a 🌍 globe icon are particularly helpful for bilingual students in the language acquistion process.
