Entry Requirements

You should have achieved an A or B at Higher Engineering Science. You should also have completed Higher Mathematics to cope with the numeracy skills required to complete the course.

Course Assessment

You will cover three units - Engineering Project and Management, Electronics and Control, Mechanisms and Structures. Each unit will be covered in the exam and Course Project Assignment. Your exam is worth 30% of the final grade and the Course Project Assignment is the remaining 70%. The course is largely self-led where you will develop a project on an engineering system. Career Links and Progression

You should take this course if you are going on to university to do an engineering degree. We focus on engineering project management where you will learn how to run large and small scale engineering projects. You also build on knowledge and skills on mechanisms, structures, and electronic and electronic control systems.
