• Performing on 2 instruments

• Listening

• Composition Assignment (also includes an analysis essay at Advanced Higher Level)

• Creativity: Creative projects can help develop creativity. 

• Memory: Practicing and performing can help improve memory. 

• Multitasking: Playing the piano can help improve multitasking abilities. 

• Organisation: Playing a musical instrument can help develop organisational skills. 

• Teamwork: Playing a musical instrument in a group can help boost teamwork skills. 

• Perseverance: Playing a musical instrument can help teach perseverance. 

• Coordination: Playing a musical instrument can help enhance coordination. 

• Mathematical ability: Playing a musical instrument can help better mathematical ability. It is scientifically proven that Maths and music go hand in hand.

• Reading and comprehension: Playing a musical instrument can help improve reading and comprehension skills.
