Chapter 1: Who’s That Girl?
Kidnapped, hurt, and tampered with. Paylynn went through a lot and this is her story.
Who would ever guess that your biggest nightmare is Paylynn’s new world!
Paylynn was from a big city in Miami, she spent her whole life there. She ran away at the age of fifteen. Her whole life kind of sucked. It had all started when her mom died; she was left all alone with her dad who was never home. Sometimes it was business. But mostly he found a girl to call “mom”, but it never lasted.
The city smelled of dead fish, smoke and gasoline. She also had the view of one hundred thirty feet up, in her mid sized apartment. On Main Street, you were lucky to see five living trees. (That was a bad sign!) She also knew of a club, to have fun and dance in. There was no alcohol or other bad stuff allowed.
Over all she loved the city for itself, his is where she ran to after the one day she had enough of those people her dad had “loved”. She ran here after he died and Paylynn didn’t want to live with Lana the woman at the time.
Paylynn worked at a docking place, she caught fish, and sold them from a range of one to five bucks. She in one day got over one hundred dollars.
Paylynn was single, but not ashamed at all! She had friends and didn’t need any boy trouble. Most of her friends did close to the same work she did. Except Amanda, she was an art teacher.
Most of the time they gave each other ideas, and they got along together quite nicely. One idea Amanda gave Paylynn was to paint her kitchen red with an orange ceiling, and green trim, and a pepper or two.
Paylynn had an invite to a party; she had gotten text that said: Hey come to the club!
She thought of a nice formal dress but the club was not a formal place. The next thought was a simple shirt and jeans but that wasn’t it either. She finally looked in her closet and found a nice fitted silver knee high dress with aquamarine trim. Maybe, but she kept looking. She found the strapless red party dress Amanda past on, that with those fun boots she got would look phenomenal! She changed and got a twenty for her favorite red pepper mixed with seltzer drink. You could only find them there.
By the time she got to the truck she was ready, ready as ever! The truck bounced along the street to the club, and then she parked.
The door to the club opened a faint smell of paint. Or so was in the air. Paylynn decided to check it out. Soon enough she found the source.
The attic of the club had scratch marks lining the walls like a cat or lion had walked in and found a wall to use as a post. The paint residue was making the smell.
Still curious she walked on feeling the scratches this time, every crevice and line the thing made. She looked up to see a pair of yellow – bluish eyes staring at her!
“Excuse me ma’am you need to go down stairs to the people part of the whole club okay?” said a fairly tall man who had the strength if needed
Paylynn walked down to the dance room where she took a twenty dollar bill and handed it to the waitress to get some seltzer. She put three bottles in her bag to bring to the truck.
As she did her favorite song came on, Kiss You by One Direction, Paylynn sang the few words she did know.
“You don’t want to take it slow; you just want to take me home. Saying yeah-e-yeah-e-yeah. And let me kiss you” She sung even though it was a little off pitch.
She got up saying the bye and hearing it back. She walked out the door and, the linoleum floor, the walls it all went black!
Chapter 2: The Moments
WHAMM!
What was … Paylynn just managed to get out when
Wham, just a little harder for good measure.
“That should do it”, said a tall cloaked man as he threw her in the back of a truck.
Paylynn woke with bruises all over her forehead. Her next thought was what happened? It seemed to fog out though. Another thought was how did she get here and where was she? But then she thought back to the window and those eyes … it was the man. He saw her and needed to get her!
A cell? No a… um… cage? It was a cage not cell, her head hurt and it affected her eyes, the way it hurt so much she didn’t want to open them.
She soon noticed some more cells lined and chained to a big ceiling. The ceiling was blunt, grey, and had one dim light hanging from the big ceiling. The way it seemed, with her head, the walls started to cave in and the floor started to crack. Then she screamed and it seemed to echo and echo, so scary but then the floor broke and she kept falling, the world also started to collapse. Next pictures of her worst fear, every one seemed to turn from her running as if scared! What was happening!
Then the walls were caved out to their original place, she was still sitting there, almost alone. Only to hear what seemed to be the muttering of women
The mutters said: “Who is it? He’s at it again; it won’t be long till his next strike! Who last died, he’s out isn’t he?”
It seemed that Paylynn was the topic of the entire group of women. It seemed like they were scared too. Of what may happen and the man and everything in life! Maybe trying to hide it but it was obvious, soon the women all started to yell. Just to Paylynn. And when she looked around the room, it all went silent more than any thing, until Paylynn said:
“What?”
Nobody said a thing, not one little thing. Paylynn yelled other stuff too. Even till her throat was numb.
Soon enough, Paylynn had lay there, on the hard metal bottom to this hanging cage, drifting slowly into sleep but to a rood awakening.
Paylynn was smart; she was blind-folded though. She seemed to be being carried into some room. She heard the tap-tap of dripping water and the clank of shoes on ground, metal ground. She also smelt strong body spray, was this the man? Was he wearing body spray? The smell got stronger as if it was coming from the bottle, not the man.
It made Paylynn choke. The smell was tremendously strong. Paylynn then noticed there was no blind-fold, it was a grain bag. She also was rocking slightly, by her hands and feet.
Then the bag came off, she was lifted on a platform, the platform rising. She saw a girl, looked like a twelve year old girl. She also looked scared, terrified.
“Hello, my names Paylynn, don’t be scared I will help you through what ever happens. What is your name?
“My name is Cheye,” she said a tear rolling from her cheek.
Chapter 3 Arrows
The platform stopped and there was a horrible sight. Death! Women were running, as arrows flew, hitting or passing.
Paylynn looked around; she saw that men had cross bows sticking out of middle sized holes in the high part of the wall. It also seemed that the landscape was set in many floors! Because she and Cheye came up out of the ground. But the rest was just walls and running women.
Paylynn looked around seeing a smallish hole in the wall. The two girls set running for it.
Nobody seemed to notice them. Soon though it grew colder as if the darkness was growing and setting a pit into the earth full of ice and snow! But Paylynn held Cheye close as if never to let go. But it became too much. So they left hoping they would get out.
Cheye had became a close friend, like the sister or daughter she never had. So having Cheye near became a sweet and warm thing to her.
Every body got out accept Paylynn and Cheye. They were left alone, almost dark. How long had they been there? More arrows flung and missed but suddenly…
“Ah, ah, no... Cheye! Paylynn screamed, trying to rip the arrow from Cheye’s heart. But nothing worked; it was over… done for. “You’ll pay for this, it’s not over!” she shouted angrily, screaming and crying as if she was shot.
“I will bless you Paylynn, from heaven.” And those were Cheye’s last words
Paylynn cried, and then sung a gentle song her mother had sung when Paylynn was four.
“Hush, my child. One day god will find you a better place, don’t worry I still care. Life may be tough but I’m still here, so hush my child, I promise it turn out better than before.”
That whole day Paylynn cried and cried but crying just made it worse. So Paylynn tried to stop but that’s was hard to, Cheye was there for Paylynn, Paylynn was there for Cheye! They didn’t really know anything about each other but that’s why it made her maddest! Cheye was not at all afraid to risk her life for Paylynn and they could have been friends but it was over! Done.
Finally Paylynn was done with it! She just made it go and started to think of a plan. The plan that would change everything, FOREVER! And it went like this. First she started clanking on the bars, she needed the attention. Soon the others started to yell. So the man came out, to her cage and here she needed to free fall it. He opened the cage. At the sound of bars opening, Paylynn had forgotten her plan! But when the thought came back. All to see was white walls.
“Help, help, help!” Cried the soft steady voice fading up walls in the ceiling and then the roof. It was like she was in a dream. In a nightmare!
The loud speakers came on just for Paylynn to hear the sorrows in the death of Cheye. The man started to speak. “Hello, you stupid and quite mean girl. And you’re that one, who KILLED my sweet little Cheye, didn’t you!”
“No stupid think you kidnapped me you’re mean!” she screamed. And it was the truth, right? But the man did not hear her in any way at all!
Paylynn stayed up all night waiting for the right moment of escape
Chapter 4, The Escape Plan and Action
Walls and walls. No weapons, speakers too high to reach. So how is this to be done, and there were NO security cameras anywhere to be seen. That was her slight advantage.
Soon enough she had an idea. The walls seemed flimsy enough to break so soon the foot holes would appear, then she would climb up, right? Yes, then over time she would break out the loud speaker and climb out. But the problem was that there needed to be venting through out this place what ever it was.
A day passed and Paylynn’s strength was back, but she was sick from no food, so when she escaped she would feast. Chicken, with creamy gravy sauce. Or one million pounds of avocado. That probably was an exaggeration, though.
Crack! The holes started to appear in the wall as Paylynn climbed up. It was stronger plastic than it looked; still Paylynn was set on breaking out!
“Ahhhhh,” Paylynn screamed, pain shot and soon she soared like a bird though the sky and hit the cold solid hard ground. THUD!
She lay there, you could say she got paralyzed but the truth was she only got hurt. It was hard to feel her hurt body as she lay there helplessly. All her dreams gone. No plan of escape either.
That first time you fall off your bike and you get so mad you give up. That’s the feeling she got. She lost everything and it was all over, her hopes and dreams in the trash!
A few hours passed and her back felt better, so she got up and tried again. But the odd part was that someone had to have came in and put a camera on the wall. Then fixed the wall, but before anything was done she punched the camera and smashed every piece of it. Crack, crack, the plastic broke bigger. And it was stronger for her to grapple with. She again got up to the speaker, this time aiming for a sitting position; she was safer this way to.
The speaker soon popped out, more like smashed down. Footsteps started coming and Paylynn was running out of time! Each second felt like ages and then the door clicked and she fell far out of the venting behind the speaker. And soon she came out of a shoot in the now what seemed like a mountain.
Dirt flew as Paylynn ran; fast, faster and faster, each second extending. Faster and further. Again more dirt flew but it was over, she was out and this was it!
She didn’t know where she was or why but she ran until there was a town.
Paylynn found her way to the cop’s office, “Hello I need a cop! There’s a terrible thing, let me in please!” she said half trembling.
She wasn’t confident as she told her story, nor were the cops. They didn’t believe until she pleaded. She was dirty she hadn’t had food at all! She was sick, she was scared.
Then Paylynn and the cops set out to what seemed like the middle of nowhere, but it wasn’t at all. They found the mountain, the girls were set free and Paylynn was happy.
Soon the officers yelled, they were fighting the man. The kidnapper. What happened to them will never be told. Soon Paylynn had to fight to; so she snuck from behind and found the officers gun and phone. She called reinforcements and when she took the gun, she came in front saying things like “Put your hands up,” and “Don’t move or I will shoot.”
When the reinforcements came the fight was truly on! The man was surrounded, completely. The guns fired but the man dodged them. Paylynn stepped out as more guys came in. Shots came now harder than before as men went running to the man. He got captured and dragged away
Chapter 5 The Man
The man’s real name was Malichia Bowen; he stood six foot seven inches tall. He wanted power but never got it. He killed his dad, mom and step sisters, there were three in all. He hoped that would give him the power only god can conquer, but he only made it worse. Hell fell upon the world. Until he gave it up and left for the mountain.
When he first started killing women it was like a sport for him. He tortured, starved, then killed. But now he’s gone! Dead forever. He always had that Joker smile never scared to die.
Also Paylynn helped all the women and got to be a cop herself. Loves the job too. She also got married to a man named Antonio Ganja, she always calls him Spanish. But really he’s from the Bahamas. So Paylynn was happy and got it back, her old life. To settle in the old apartment and love it!
