“Why should I visit Oklahoma?” you may ask.You shold visit because Oklakoma has History,Tons of symbols,Nice weather,Sports,and some Country pop stars may know of!

Oklahoma’s history began in April,22,1889 when the first Oklahoma land came to be! Then just 19 years later Oklahoma became the 46th state in America on November 16 1907.Then just 39 years later after the Oklahoma land rush and just 18 years after Oklahoma became a state Oklahoma got its state flag designed by an artist in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma’s capital.

Oklahoma has many symbols, such as,The state fruit is a Strawberry, yummy! The state vegetable is a Watermelon,I thought watermelon was a fruit!Now on the topic of state animals. The state animal of Oklahoma is the endangered Buffalo or Bison however you say it they are still the state animal of Oklahoma.The state fish is the Sand bass,or White Bass.Also the state bird is the Scissor-tailed Flycatcher (Muscivora forficata).

Oklahoma’s climate is often sunny and in winter it is chilly around 50℉ so not too bad but still autumn weather for us in peoria in spring-summer it’s normally around 70-90℉ that would be around normal to hot here in peoria.

Oklahoma’s nickname is “The Sooner State”. 3.Oklahoma’s the 46th state of America.4.Oklahoma’s state flower is the Oklahoma rose.5.Last but not least Oklahoma’s game animal is the White-Tailed Deer.It is also Illinois’s state animal.
