Introduction
Today we will be going on a tour. We will be learning about the Southeast. So put your seat belts on and hold on tight because we will be learning lots of awesome stuff about the Southeast.”All aboard!”
Wildlife in the Southeast
The Southeast has a wide variety of plants and animals. The Cypress swamp, Mangrove swamp, and Southern Appalachian Forest are all cool habitats in the Southeast. The Southern Appalachian Forest has lots of cool animals such as Squirrels, Warblers, Chickadees, Foxes and Black Bears. The plants include Tuliptrees, Oak trees, Black Cherry trees, White ash trees, and the Eastern Redbud. The Mangrove swamp is found on the Floridian Coast and has awesome animals such as the Osprey, Bald Eagle, Great Blue Heron, Raccoon, and the Manatee. The native plants are The Red, White, and Black Mangroves.
Finally, the Cypress swamp is one of the coolest habitats in the Southeast. Some of the animals that live there are the Otter, Bobcat, Vultures, Egrets, and the Red-Bellied Woodpecker. Some of the plants are the Bald Cypress, Spanish Moss, Black willow, White waterlily, and the Yellow Pondlily.
The Southeast History
North America, Spain, France, and England called it southern United States also Southern United States had good mound builders. The South East had a American civil war. The war stopped slavery. The Southern United states had a lot of native americans. and a lot of people from the other continents.
Climate
In the summer it’s in the upper 80s to the lower 90s. The southeast is by the equator it is cooler in the mountains and hills . It can have floods and rain falls. The winter is short and mild. In the highlands. There are destructive tornadoes and muddy storms.
Places in the Southeast
The Southeast has a lot of tourist attractions and amazing cities. One of the awesome places there is Orlando, Florida. It has theme parks such as Disney World and Universal, and warm weather all year. Another cool place in the southeast is Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. There are large guest houses, great beaches, and once again hot temperatures. Lastly, Nashville, Tennessee is an epic city with Honky Tonks, the Batman Building, and it has great hotels.
Important People in the Southeast
Daniel Boone,Harriet Tubman and Gandhi and more, These people have saying like… “follow your dreams” and “nothing can stop you believing” and for example Harriet
Tubman, she led slaves into an underground railroad and saved their lives and Adam Sandler he was a comedian and he has done so many hilarious movies like Grown ups 1 and Grown ups 2. When i said i am gonna do important people i said with my words and i also wanted to wildlife but still my school grade will be my justice for the honor roll and if you want to more i will be right there for you.When i hear about more people i will and i mean this put it on here. really important people are important to this country and respect
Landforms In the Southeast
The southeast has lots of landform in the southeast for example it has the Mount Mitchell it's located in North Carolina. Ouachita Mountain is another land form and it's located in Arkansas. The great smoky mountains is located in North Carolina.coastal plains it is so cool.
Appalachian is also another land form in the south east.There are lots of AWESOME landforms
Southeast Culture
The Southeast is the home to these kinds of music Jazz, Elvis, Bluegrass, The Blues, and gospel.
There are many different foods in the Southeast and not all come from the same culture. They eat foods from these cultures of Mexican, French, British, Creole/ Cajun, central and south America, and Caribbean. Some of the food they eat are Po’boys, Gumbo, Fried chicken, Barbeque, Catfish, Key Lime pie sometimes Alligator, biscuits and Gravy, Hot brown sandwich, North Carolina pig pickin, Boiled peanuts, and Hush puppies. they speak different languages like Spanish, English, and French.

There are lots of amazing states and places in the Southeast and if you are looking for a vacation go here! I hope you learned a lot about the southeast and by now you are probably thinking “The southeast is Awesome.” If you are, you are correct.
