State Bird

First, we will learn about North Dakota's State Bird, the Western Meadowlark. I know your probably wondering shouldn't the Western Meadowlark live in the west? Well, this bird came from Montana which is in the West, but the Western Meadowlark lives in the western part of North Dakota. The reason that the Western Meadowlarks migrated is because in Montana people were hunting them for food so they migrated to the West part of North Dakota! Pretty interesting huh?
