A Family Trip to Nebraska
One day the Winschel family decided that for summer vacation they would go to Nebraska. So then a couple months later on a hot July day when school was out Mom, Dad, Andy, Luke, Zach, Abby (Me), Laura, and Sam got in the family's pale blue Toyota and drove off to Nebraska.
A couple hours later The Winschel family parked at a place where you can get a free tour around Nebraska. "Hello there!" said Jessica, "I will be your tour guide today, we will be going to see one of Nebraska's attractions today. Decide what you would like to see today and then we can go. So she gave them some choices and left them to pick where they would like to go.
The family talked and talked and finally decided where they would go. "We would like to go to Henry Doorly zoo and aquarium first please," said my Mom.
"Okay," said Jessica, "I'm ready to go so let me get the car started and we can leave. So the all the Winschel's hopped in their minivan while Jessica went in her grey Honda with the tour guide's logo on the side of it and they all drove off.
"Wow," Sam said clearly in awe, "That's a big place."
"Yeah," said Jessica, "Henry Doorly zoo and aquarium has the largest indoor desert, it has 7 acres of indoor exhibit with an additional 130 acres of land used for exhibits, gardens and more."
"Cool," chorused the family, then they started walking towards the entrance.
The family had fun all day watching animals,
going in the aquarium, going in the desert dome, and eating lunch. Even though they didn't always agree on everything and didn't get to see all of the zoo, at the end of the day they were all happy but exhausted. After that they went back to their hotel and had a good night sleep because tomorrow, they would go somewhere else and have more fun!
