History

In 1866 a constitution for Nebraska was made. Soon after that, in 1867 Nebraska became the 37th state. At that time it's state capitol became Lincoln. In 1869 Nebraska university, a now popular college in Nebraska was built. After that in the 1890's people started coming to Nebraska to farm. In 1894 Henry Doorly zoo and aquarium was built. Next in 1932 Nebraska's capitol building was built

. In 1945 Nebraska's nickname became the Cornhuskers state. After that in 1948 Nebraska became the nation's #1 meat seller. The most recent thing that has happened was in 2015. A company moved to Chicago, 300 workers transferred, 1,000 workers lost their job.
