I am a horse person and a country girl at heart. I am happily married and the proud mother of 2 children. Being a parent is the most rewarding and challenging part of my life. We live in Blythewood, and enjoy spending family time at my mother's farm in Lugoff riding horses.

I have taught Spanish at Spring Valley High School since 2001, and with RD2 Virtual High School since 2006. I am a native speaker from Puerto Rico. Yet, I consider SC my home since I have lived here since I was 11 years old. I earned a BA in Spanish and International Trade from Clemson University. I earned MEd from Cambridge College. I have more than 36 post graduate credit in business, technology, education and English. I am Highly Qualified to teach Spanish, online teaching, Talented and Gifted, and AP level classes. I am a TEC Mentor Veteran and was the only HS Integration of Technology to Enhance the Curriculum Spanish Teacher in the district. I was also the part of the first batch of teachers to introduce Chromebooks to the classrooms at SVHS. My goal is for the students to have a knowledgeable facilitator of information in order for the students' to grow intellectually by mastering Spanish.
