1.8 Media Literacy in the Digital Age
One of the most critical skills to take from your time in secondary education is related to literacy. Decoding and encoding through reading and writing is a fundemental skill-set that enables all of us to interact, exchange and record information, and influence our fellow humans. In the current media environment it is critical to have a good method of determining the quality and accuracy of the media diet. We are going to spend some time in this unit evaluating media and developing media skills.
