Amnesty Meeting Minutes and Notes

From 12/8 Meeting

Amnesty International Conflict Cuisine- Proposed Date 4/21/2017

The Amnesty International Club of Gettysburg High School would like to host a dinner centered on foods that are from regions of the world in conflict. This idea is already being done by organizations and businesses such as Conflict Kitchen and Conflict Cuisine.

Our proposal is that we provide the tech-prep students with two or three places on the planet and they propose a menu that highlights the food culture and preferences of the region. We would price the tickets based on the proposed menu and sell tickets a month or two before the event. On the evening of the event we would be in charge of decorating the room, helping to set-up if needed, and provided programing before and after the meal.

If you would like to see examples of the people who already doing this and and some of the menus they have used please check these sites:

Thanks for your time. I look forward to hearing from you.
