Global Issues

Welcome to Global Studies. This is a contemporary global examination of your community, country, and world. There are seven major units that are each broken into several subsections of study. We will be using a variety of readings, articles, videos, and news programs to investigate and illuminate many of the is

sues that will shape our common future. We will be covering challenging materials that may (and should) generate controversy and discussion. This course will require each student to create a website, submit several position papers, and regularly post to our common blog page.
