The journey to get this sandwich was going great till the quantity of food ordered was in plain sight. However, this was due to the bulky packaging of the sandwiches and sides that we ordered, so all worries were quelled.

But what about the sandwich? This sandwich was on the border between our large and small sandwiches and that was quite a relief. However, for a sandwich that wasn't close to being epic in proportions, it was very poorly constructed. As Marlowe lamented, it wouldn't be a surprise if the preparation was geared at generating a purposeful mess.

That aside, majority of staff felt that this was a delicious sandwich. The beef, fried onions and gruyere fondue were delicious together, but the poorly constructed nature of this sandwich just made that extra-sauce abet the breakdown of the sandwich in one's palm. The bread was not bad by any means. It was nice to bite and chew and did it's job when called upon to soak up sauce and merge flavors. So, after a range of scores between 5 and 2 (both included), we ended up with a 4.4 rated sandwich that, along with sumptuous sides provided, allowed for an enjoyable Friday lunch.
