La Superior

4/5 These were solid. The pork needed a bit more flavor, however the avocado/pickled onion/salsa toppings were fresh and added a lot of flavor themselves. Considering how long we had to wait for the bread, though, it wasn’t actually that great--a bit hard to bite through in comparison to the softer sandwich interior. The chicken on the other sandwich was pretty spicy, but had a much better flavor than the pork--if we could have combined the chicken with the toppings from the pork sandwich, this would’ve been out of this world! Overall though, great.

Torta de Cochinita (sourdough baguette, dab of refried beans, pulled pork, avocado, pickled onions, habanero pico de gallo)

Torta de Tinga (sourdough baguette, dab of refried beans, spicy chicken with melted cheese and sour cream on the side)
