Overview

The key fob project is part of the manufacturing unit. Casting and molding is one subsystem of manufacturing. Injection molding is a widely used method capable of making all sorts of plastic products. Students will use an injection molder to make the key fob from polyethylene pellets. Afterward, students will have the opportunity to use the CNC milling machine to mill a design into their key fob.
