Additive Manufacturing: Chip Clip Design

OVerview

Additive manufacturing or 3D printing is becoming more prevalent and is used for an ever-expanding range of uses. This project is designed to introduce 3D printing to students that have not taken our classes in the past and act as a refresher for those that have. Students will be using the Engineering Design Process for this project, completing much of the work in their engineering notebook. Students will create designs that meet project criteria and are within given constraints. Information regarding 3D printing and material properties can be found under the Research area of this site.
