Overview

Additive manufacturing or 3D printing is becoming more prevalent and is used for an ever-expanding range of uses. This project is designed to expand upon the 7th grade Additive Manufacturing: Spinning Top Design project. Students will further develop their CAD skills and be directly involved in the 3D printing process. Students will follow the steps of the Engineering Design Process to create a custom cell phone holder that meets design criteria and is within given constraints.
