Panel 1:

Jane, outside Offscreen Lady's door. It's dark outside, but she's lit from a light on the front porch.

Jane Cervelle: Trick or treat!

Offscreen Lady: Hello there! I love your costume. It's very convincing!

Jane Cervelle: Yeah, that's because I'm not actually wearing a costume. I'm a real zombie.

Offscreen Lady: Hehe, that's nice. Hang on, I'll go and get the candy.

Panel 2:

Jane Cervelle, thinking: Another one who can't distinguish a real zombie from a kid in a costume.

Jane Cervelle, thinking: She thinks I'm just very immersed in my costume.

Jane Cervelle, thinking: People can be so livingist at times.

Panel 3:

Offscreen Lady returns with a bowl of candy, which stick into the panel from the right.

Offscreen Lady: Here you go! Just pick out some things you like.

Jane Cervelle: I'll forgive you.

Offscreen Lady: Huh?

Jane Cervelle: I mean, thanks!
