Commentary

Honestly, I didn't think of the skin colors until after I'd posted yesterday's str'p. It's not that big of a problem, really, but I wanted to clarify. In any case, it also explains why they don't look as similar as one might expect.

I guess Cal is her adoptive father in a meta-sense too, seeing as their relation was essentially a retcon of my creator headcanon.

On another note, the relation allows for a more connected cast. So far, the core cast at the apartment building (I should probably come up with a better name) and the asafeiologists have been kept mostly apart, with very limited interaction: The cow (off-panel) and poker.
