Nerves
I couldn’t, I can’t, I’m petrified, Did I have to do this.
I tried but words wouldn't come out. I choked.
My body had frozen, It had taken over.
My mouth glued back together and I had a lump in my throat.
I was blue, Trembling in nerves. I ran into the music room.
I was physically the worst person to speak ever. I felt something in my body, something that I had never felt before. That feeling made me feel like I was never able to speak again.
My friends came gushing into the music room asking me if I was okay.
I just quietly mumbled, yeah ‘I’m fine’. But deep down I was not fine. The nerves were never going to be ok. I ask my friends if I can just have a few minutes to myself, they all say yeah and gush back out again. I burst into tears as soon as they leave, Wondering if i was ever going to be ok.
Did You know that 1 in 6 Australian parents Allow their children to drink underage!. Imagine being a young fourteen-year-old and forgetting everything i'm talking about like everything your friends, family, pets, and much more, You would be devastated. If you didn't already know I'm talking about underage drinking. I come from a family where I've grown up around a lot of alcohol. At all of the parties that I have gone to I have seen kids underage drinking, feeling the effects of being drunk, and much more. I have now realized this is wrong.
- Drinking Underage Can Ruin The Brain.
You may be thinking this is just some silly fact that a five-year-old made up well It's not, Alcohol damages the brain, kidneys, and you can also expreince low blood sugars. well, I kinda lied it doesn't make you completely have brain damage it Just makes you more prone to having brain damage.
- Children can avoid drinking
Drink,Drank,Drunk. You are probably wondering what this means. This is a power of three that I made up. Drink meaning you’re drinking in the moment and not thinking drank meaning you just drank underage to numb your feelings emotions and pain, and drunk meaning your feeling the affects of alcohol. Here are three ways you can almost stop your child from drinking. Firstly try to hide all the alcohol in your house, Secondly try to not drink in front of your child(ps if you drink it can encourage your child to drink), and Thirdly avoid allowing your child to go to parties where they can drink
- Alcohol Has An Effect
In 2016 16-17 year olds were allowed to drink alcohol underage. Alcohol has a different effect on everyone due to the genes. Humans crave alcohol due to memory. We can also crave alcohol due to the smell. When this happens there is a signal that gets sent to the brain to tell you to crave it. Sometimes peer pressure can also force kids to drink.
