  The worst birthday of my life 

Waking up in the morning after a critical night of yelling and screaming. This was one of the worst birthdays of my life. I go out into the kitchen expecting a plate of crunchy golden pancakes. But instead I get a bowl of porridge and I pause. 

‘Mum’ I say desperately ‘yes’ she shouts from across the room 

‘I thought I was going to get a plate of pancakes?’ I question

 ‘No silly, you’re birthday was yesterday’ she quickly replies. 

I'm now standing in the kitchen with tears rolling down my eyes. I can still picture the night it was all yelling and screaming over music yes music. I never thought that christians were that strict. It was only 6:00 o'clock. It went something like this…..

‘TURN THE DARN MUSIC DOWN NOW IT'S PAST MY CHILDREN'S BEDTIME AND THE HAVE CHRISTIAN CAMP TOMORROW!!!’ ‘NO’ mum shouted back and it just went on for hours, until the lady next door called the police and ended the fight. It was the worst birthday ever and mum got set off with a warning so did the other lady next door. Mum is now staring at me with a questioned look on her face as I stand in the kitchen with tears rolling down my face. 

‘Are you ok?’ questioned mum.’ I sprint of to my room before I reply as she is frozen in the kitchen. I am now passing around trying to figure out how I can convince the police that it was not mum’s fault  

‘that's a great idea. I will skip school and go to the police station and tell him that it was a misunderstanding.’It is now morning and I'm panicking. I have to go to the station and then race back to school in time right before the bell goes. I can feel my heart beating super fast, faster than a race car that's going 100m per hr 'here's ur lunch sweetie’ mum hands me a pb&j sandwich and a couple snacks as well ‘would u like a ride or will u walk?’ asked mum ‘i'll walk’ walking was part of my plan if she were to drive me and watch me go through those gates. I can't go out that's the rule if you enter the school you  can't leave until the bell goes. Im now sprinting to the police station as loads of school kids are passing by me im worried because u want to see my teacher or any of my classmates I finally make it to the station and enter with fear in my head I can hear sirens people screaming guns spraying the area I go to the front counter and who do I se? I see MUM!. She apparently has been working here for 5 years and I didn’t know she even had a job.‘Sweety what are u doing here Is anyone chasing you hurting you?’ ‘no i'm here to tell the copper that your warning was unnecessary and the nabious yelled first’ ‘ darling I know that she yelled first and I don't even know why I got one but it is what it is.’
