"ooooww!"I yell out. My foot is stuck under my dirt bike. Looks like I've broken the suspension again. But I don't care because my foot is in agony. I hear a noise and look up to see a kid sprinting towards me I can’t see him very well though because my eyes are tearing up.”Help!”I yell out. He lifts the bike off me and help’s me up I have to hop though I think I’ve burnt my foot. “My foster parents have a first aid kit at our campsite I’ll take you there,”He says. He lifts me up into a piggy back and starts to carry me to his campsite.My parents will be so mad I think to myself on the way there.We Just Got to the holiday park and I already hurt myself. We get to his campsite and he yells out “Martha!”Who I think must be his mum. They take me inside the tent and treat my foot. As Martha’s wrapping my foot in bandages the boy asks “what's your name?”
“I’m Simon,”I say back”What’s your name?”
“I’m Teddy,”he says in his kiwi accent. I can stand now and I get up and shake his hand, in this moment I can tell this friendship will last forever.

So you know the Redwood forest right?Thought so.Well can you imagine if all those trees got chopped down,A place like that destroyed and empty.Well that's happening all over the world and I'm here to tell you how it affects you.
Trees,they help us breathe by storing the carbon dioxide we breathe out in their leaves.But with every tree cut down more and more carbon dioxide is released resulting in the 4.8billion tons of it released per year that makes up 10% of climate change.climate change effects can vary from worse air,food and water quality to mental health effects. This is everyone's problem and will only get worse if we don´t do anything about it.
Did you know 80% Of world species live in the rainforest and people are surprised when I say deforestation is one of the biggest drivers of extinction.If we have no more animals, no more fresh meat if we have no trees we lose resources like bananas,apples and paper All of these things add up and if we don't stop soon we won't have any of these resources.
People might say we need the farming space but who needs more when you already have 4.62 billion acres of just cropland in the world?Iḿ not saying we don't need it Iḿ saying we need to be more sustainable,our school acknowledgement of country says "we must only take from this land what we can give back" we are not doing that at the moment.
