Firstly, gun laws need to change because so many people are dying. Over 360 people die to guns everyday in America. This shows how many people have a gun.

Secondly, kids are terrified to go to school. Imagine walking home from school and seeing someone with a gun. There has been 202 mass shootings and we are not even half way through the year. 

Lastly, so many Americans want to copy Australia's rules on guns. We have not had a shooting since 1996 which was at Port Arthur in Tasmania. After this shooting, the government brought back all of the semi-automatic rifles. This shows that having strict gun laws means not that many people will die. 57% of American people want to change the gun laws to make their country safer.
