Love is in the Air

Valentine's Day is a day to celebrate love with your significant other or maybe just a family member. Wilton high school has a lot of different kinds of relationships, and some that have lasted quite a while. With Valentine's Day this month, several students, and even staff asked a loved one to be their valentine. I asked some students throughout the school about their valentine experience, and I interviewed a few classmates about their relationships.

Q: How did you get asked for valentines

A: Alex Bitterman - “My boyfriend Keegan Wells, showed up to my house with flowers and my favorite candy and asked for me to be his valentine.

Q:How did you spend valentines day?

A: Owen Milder, “I went to my girlfriend's house and exchanged gifts with her, then we decided to watch a movie together.

Q: What is your favorite memory with your significant other

A: Kale McQuillen, “My favorite memory with my girlfriend is when we went to Alabama together last spring and went to the beach ice cream store for five days straight.

Q: How did you spend Valentine's day with your significant other?

A: Ryan Hetzler, I went to the store to buy flowers and gave them to my wife, Whitney Hetzler, then we spent the day together with our kids.

These students and staff and many more throughout Wilton high school have celebrated valentine's day by asking their significant other to be their valentines.

Whether or not you have a significant other, it is always good to love others. Especially on Valentine's day!
