I am a casual using hacks and amateur knowledge to translate.
There's at least one line here I'm not 100% sure on. If it sounds weird / doesn't flow, that's on me. Sorry!
Please refer to Hetascanlation's work (when they get there) as the definitive translation.

• 40 km/h is about 24.9 mph, which is only a bit under Usain Bolt's recorded top speed (43.9 km/h or 27.3 mph)! Ameri-monster is fast!

• The "mysterious amusement park" seems to reference "Les Machines de l'Île" ("Machines of the Isle") in Nantes, France. It's a combination art installation/amusement park inspired by Jules Vernes (who was born and raised in Nantes), and feels like his 19th-century science fiction come to life. It features all kinds of rideable, mechanical creatures, but its showstopper is a 12 meter tall, 48 ton mechanical elephant!

• Mooncakes are a Chinese pastry traditionally eaten during the Mid-Autumn Festival (sometime between mid-Sept and early Oct in the Gregorian calendar). While they come in many varieties, the traditional Cantonese mooncake is the most famous: it's round and has a rich, thick filling usually made from lotus seed paste or red bean paste.
