There's at least one line here I'm not 100% sure on. If it sounds weird / doesn't flow, that's on me. Sorry!

Translation Notes
General:
Fonts are swapped around based on their tone/volume, so it might look random, but I'm just trying to replicate the original font choices.
Page 1:
• I couldn't find actual dollar amounts for the sum total natural gas trade for the countries (though I also admittedly was strapped for time so didn't dig too hard). However, this page does seem to corroborate the numbers given, in percentage:
https://energyandcleanair.org/august-2024-monthly-analysis-of-russian-fossil-fuel-exports-and-sanctions/
"LNG: The EU was the largest buyer, purchasing 50% of Russia's LNG exports, followed by China (21%) and Japan (18%)."
• The actual numbers given in the comic will depend based on what is meant by "sum of trade" - is that the cumulative total for 2024? Or whatever month Hima did his research in?
• For America, it is true that it imports no natural gas from Russia, and hasn't since 2019. Sanctions put in place in 2022 due to the war in Ukraine just put the nail in the coffin. That said, America does still import crude and unfinished oils (around ~20% as of 2021).
• For Germany... its 0$ is a bit of a technicality. While true that Germany stopped directly importing Russian gas after summer 2022, it instead imports via the Netherlands, Norway, and Belgium - whose own supply is sourced in some amount from Russia. For example, up to 11% of gas deliveries from Belgium originated from the Russian Yamal natural gas plant, as of 2022. But Germany's money isn't directly going into Russia's pocket so I guess it counts??
