General:
Fonts are swapped around based on their tone/volume, so it might look random, but I'm just trying to replicate the original font choices.
Page 1:
• "Tchintchin" is a French interjection used as a toast to drinking (a la "cheers"). It apparently comes from Chinese "qǐng qǐng," meaning "please, please," and used as an invitation to drink. It was brought to France by soldiers coming back from the Second Opium War in the late 1800s.
Page 2:
• America's car appears to be a 1956 BMW 502 Cabriolet. Why a German car...?
