Debris

What you need:

• Event is public.

• Event Type will be Road Debris.

• Location.

• Add the type of item (tire, couch, animal) to history.

• Snapshot, if possible. If not, add a note in history.

HERO activities as follows:

• MOT/Traffic Control.

• Debris.

• Once HERO is on scene and moves debris, ask where he moved it and what it is.

• REMOVED: If HERO removed it completely, add a note in history that HERO could remove debris and maintenance does not need to be notified.

• MOVED: If the item was moved to a not impeding part of the roadway, add a note in history that HERO moved debris to whatever area and maintenance is being notified. Then notify the maintenance yard of debris via phone and email.

• If a phone call is made to maintenance yard, make sure you add a note in history of who/when you spoke to maintenance. Also add a note in the email of who/when you spoke to maintenance..
