Linda Hoffman (Coach)

Linda came to Two Harbors in 1969 and for the next 36 years she taught Physical Education and Health and coached gymnastics (1970-1994), track (1970-75), Cheerleading and GAA.  Under her direction, the Gymnastics Team was Region 7 Runner-up in 1984 and 1985 and Champions from 1986-1990.  The team placed 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th, respectively in State competition.  Linda was recognized by her peers and was named Section and State Coach of the year in 1987 and 1994.  Linda was named Health Teacher of the year in 2003 and elected President of the Minnesota Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance.  She also was awarded the Pathfinder Award by the National Alliance of AAPEHERD for promoting girls athletics.
