Fred House (Class of 1932)
Fred excelled in football and track, earning three letters in each and hockey where he earned five. Baseball was not a school activity at the time; however, Fred stood out in American Legion play and the Shop Leagues where he was a consistent .400+ hitter. Fred was driven to win and had no interest in second or third place. Fred was also an avid golfer who shot in the low eighties. Fred worked for the D.M.I.R. Railroad, the Great Northern and from 1947 until his retirement was the traffic manager for the Oliver Mining Company.
