Scott MacDonald (Class of 1971)
Scott won 12 letters - four each in basketball, football, and track. He was All-State in football in 1970 and All-State in basketball in 1970 and 71. Scott received recognition on the Sunkist All-American High School Basketball Team and received the American Legion Outstanding Athlete Award in 1971. In his senior season, Scott led the basketball team to the State Tournament.
Scott continued his athletic career at West Virginia University where he was captain and three-year starter on the basketball team and tight end on the WVU football team. He scored a touchdown in a Peach Bowl victory over North Carolina State. He was drafted by the NFL Saints but chose not to pursue a pro career.
