Lute Olson (Coach)
Lute attended Augsburg College where he was a three sport athlete. He became the Two Harbors Basketball Coach in 1957 and coached the Agates for three seasons. After coaching success in California, Lute took the U of Iowa position where he remained for nine years winning a Big Ten Title and a Final Four appearance. Lute took the University of Arizona position in 1983 and is second only to John Wooden in Pac-10 winning percentage, has over 600 wins and twenty 20-win seasons. He coached Arizona to the NCAA National Championship in 1997 and was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame. The court on the Arizona campus has been named in honor of Lute and his late wife Bobbi.
