Ed Lundstrom

Ed Lundstrom (Class of 1958)

Ed was a multi-sport athlete winning eleven letters - three each in football, basketball, track, and two in baseball.  Ed participated in the State Track meet in 1957 and 1958 and was the District Champion in the long jump and high jump.  Ed continued his outstanding athletic career at UMD where he won four letters in football, three in basketball and two in track.  He was an All-Conference performer in football.  Ed coached football at UMD for ten years and served as the Heak of Health, Physical Education and Recreation and Dean of the College of Education.
