Lee Scotland

Lee Scotland (Class of  1967)

Lee was an outstanding high school athlete participating in swimming, track and cross-country.  He excelled in swimming where he lettered five times and was undefeated in dual meets in 1966 and 1967.  In his senior season, Lee was district champ in the 50 and 100 freestyle and at the State Meet he placed 3rd in the 50 and 12th in the 100.  The THHS pool record he set in the 50 was never beaten.  In track, as a member of the 880 yard Relay Team, Lee helped the Agates to a fourth place finish at the State Meet.  He was named Outstanding Senior Athlete in 1967.  Lee lettered as a swimmer at the University of Minnesota graduating in 1971.  Lee went on to the U of M School of Dentistry finishing his studies in 1974 and beginning his career as a dentist.
