Mark MacDonald

Mark MacDonald (Class of 1969)

While in high school, Mark earned eleven letters in football, basketball and track.  Mark was selected All-Conference, All-Area and All-State and on teams that won Conference Championships.  In his senior season, the football team was undefeated.  In track, Mark participated in three State Meets placing third in both hurdle events and the 880 relay team.  Mark received a full athletic scholarship to the University of Minnesota to play football.  Following his freshman year, he transferred to UMD where he played basketball for four years earning All-Conference.  Mark received a master's degree from the University of Louisville while serving as graduate assistant coach on the 1980 NCAA National Championship Basketball Team.
