Curt Johnson

Curt Johnson (Class of  1962)

Curt was a multi-sport athlete in high school earning three letters in football, three in baseball, two in basketball and one in track.  As a senior running back, he led the conference in scoring and helped the 1961 team to an undefeated season.  Curt attended the Univerity of Minnesota-Duluth on a football scholarship and was a two year starter for the Bulldogs.  After graduating from UMD with a degree in mathematics, he taught and coached baseball in Eveleth for nine years bringing the 1970 team to a third place finish at State.  Following his teaching career, Curt was an electrician for over 25 years.
