Step 7. Claim the Cleansing Power of the Blood of Jesus

Everything that sinful practices have defiled must be cleansed. Only the blood of Jesus, shed on the cross, can cleanse from sin.

Prayer for Cleansing 

Lord Jesus, I claim the cleansing power of Your blood, spilled on the cross, to wash me pure from the defilement of my sins. Wash my mind and purify my thoughts. Wash my heart and purify its attitudes. Wash my entire body, from head to toe, and make me whiter than snow, purer than gold, and shinier than the sun. Cleanse me for I desire to approach You blameless, pure in mind, body, soul, and spirit. Thank You, Jesus, for Your obedience to accept the suffering on the cross that now provides cleansing from my sin. Amen!
