Lost beneath the waves at the Battle of the Third Seal, the kama of the legendary Yoritomo were thought gone forever, along with the Mantis Clan's last champion, Yoritomo Hiromi. But fate has delivered one of the kama into the hands of a young girl, a distant thunder on the horizon. Young Haruko is destined for greater things, but what shape will her destiny take? Her future, and the future of the Mantis Clan, are in your hands.

As the winner of this event, you will influence the direction of the Mantis Clan's resurgence. Your choice of Wind and/or Allegiance will determine which Mantis faction leader will nurture and guide the nascent Champion of the clan, and the clan you play will have a hand in the girl's upbringing.
