December Onyx Tournament Winner and January Event Announcement

Hello, all!

Congratulations to the winner of our December Onyx Edition online event. Mark Noel Soller, playing Scorpion, picked Bayushi Mifuyu to defiantly swear allegiance to no one, showing her disdain for those threatening the stability of the Empire in their lust for power. Mifuyu will receive an Experienced version in a future Onyx Lives! expansion.

January Storyline Event: Obsidian Legacy

One of the ancient artifacts of Lord Moon, the Obsidian Mirror, also known as Shosuro's Mirror, disappeared when Hitomi ascended to the position of Lady Moon. Rumors persisted for years that it had fallen into the hands of the Nezumi, secreted away to prevent it from falling into the hands of those who would abuse its power. As the Nezumi waned from the world in the decades that followed, all trace of the object was lost.

Until now.

The winner of this event may choose to have their Wind discover this artifact, and they may decide if that Wind's forces will use it for their own ends, regardless of the outcome, or if they will return it to the Nezumi, earning an ally among the small but still useful creatures of the Last Tribe. Alternately, those playing with no Wind may choose the Clan their are playing to discover the object themselves, with the same choice.
