Just a quick update, the Onyx 2023 Project is proceeding just fine. Both Rise of Jigoku and Road to Ruin are now in PDF form, and our very own Brook Cunningham is diligently nitpicking RtR as we speak, for which we remain eternally grateful, as always. After that and RoJ are both worded as they should be, we'll be ready to release pdfs to any who want them, with the caveat that actual gameplay testing may eventually warrant changes, later on.
We've left them somewhat intact from their states of release eight years ago, but of course we've had time to rethink some things since then, so some of it will look a bit different from what those of you with those ancient leaked pdfs might remember. We're also in the process of design work on poor unfinished Rise of Otosan Uchi, which we'll be able to put our full effort towards once these other two are out and about.
Once that's all done, I'll begin the process of editing a Moon and Sun database to include them all for people to be able to play with Onyx anytime they want.
Special and eternal thanks once again to Brook, as well as my fellow former design team members Brandon Snyder, Julien Boles, Jeff Williamson, and Chris Medico for all saddling up one last time.
Here's a few RoJ things to tide you over, with the caveat that even though the intention should be obvious, precise wording might still be needed to clear up any confusion.

This article originally appeared on Facebook, and the cards included used AI procedurally-generated art. The Onyx Lives! Project has made a public statement on our cessation of the use of generative AI art. Such art has been removed from the composited cards which were posted with the original preview article, in an effort to preserve the original text which may have evolved since the previews were first posted -- warts and all.
