Hello, all! Previews week formally starts Monday, December 8th, but I couldn't resist getting things started a little early with a single card from the set that stands alone, and features a piece by frequent art contributor Jonny Le Streghe.

Iweko Miaka, the Princess of Rokugan, is stepping more fully into her role as the true center of the resistance to the Hantei regime. You will note this is still a Kano's Alliance Wind, and will still function with any and all cards that reference your or another player's Wind as 'Kano's Alliance.' This is meant to represent a different leader of this faction, so it's not an experienced version, nor is it an MRP of  the same card as the current Kano's Alliance Wind. You may notice several differences from the current function of Winds. 

Miaka's Wind does not have its own unique 'Lobby mechanic', meaning you will have to use the traditional method of Lobbying for the Favor, though she does force other Winds to do much the same. She also does not prevent you from using the traditional rulebook functions of the Favor (moving a unit home or card cycling), merely adding an additional unique Favor option of her own to those choices. Lastly, she provides a small conditional Lobby bonus.
