Hello, all! It's me again! I'm bringing you some new Community Contributed Art, two from previous artists, and one from a brand new one! These have all been added to their respective artists' sections on our Community Contributed Art Folder.
First up, we have RtR's Cross Blades from Andrew Heilborn, who previously brought us art for the Dark Rings in ROU. They have already expressed interest in submitting more pieces to help us in our goal to backfill many of the cards stripped of art during the AI purge, so look forward to that in the future as well.
Next, we have a piece by our newest artist, Rinoa Umry Capua, ROU's Asako Shino. Rinoa will also be contributing art for Shino's upcoming Experienced version in our next expansion, CRIII. Hopefully you willl all get to see that as well in the next few weeks (fingers crossed)! You can Find Rinoa's Twitch Channel right here!
Lastly, we have another piece by prolific contributor Jonny Le Streghe (formerly Jonny Hinkle), CRII's Matsu Kurutta. Jonny has several other pieces slated for CRIII, including one of our poor Iseret, to replace the AI art mistakenly given to her previously. Jonny is one of our biggest contributors and we're eternally grateful he takes time out of his busy schedule to do these pieces for us, so please take a moment to check him out when you can.
Speaking of backfilling old art, that project still continues, and we hope to begin uploading them to the Oracle fairly soon. It's easily over 100 cards at this point so far. If you want to contribute art to any of the Onyx Block cards (ROJ, RtR, and ROU) that lost their art, contact us!
We've also updated the CRIII Art Page, for any artists interested in doing pieces for CRIII. It's undergone a fair bit of change since we initially posted it. Note, like each time we do this, it's a little spoiler-ish (but not terribly so), so just be forewarned if you plan to click on it.
We're closing in on putting CRIII to bed as I type this, and hopefully a Previews Schedule will be announced in the next week or so. Thank you all again for your support!
